Warranty & Return Policy
GB Instruments, Inc., will warranty all products sold online for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery to the customer. This limited warranty applies to defects in workmanship only, and applies only when the products are installed and operated according to the purpose(s) for which they were intended and designed; this warranty will not cover those items that are misused, abused or misapplied by the customer.
If any product is found to be defective upon examination by GB instruments, GB Instruments will, at its own discretion, repair, replace, or issue a refund. The customer is responsible for shipping costs in returning the item(s) to GBI; if the item is repaired or replaced, GBI will pay for the shipping to return it to the customer. If a refund is granted, the refund will not include any associated shipping charges for the product. GB Instruments will not assume responsibility for labor costs (or any additional costs) associated with the removal of defective product, cost of equipment downtime, or any other costs associated with the failure of the product(s).
Return Policy (aka Re-stock):
If an item has been ordered online in error (e.g., ordering the wrong size of temperature sender), the item may be returned if and only if it has never been installed. The item must be returned in its original product packaging, and all accessories must be in unopened bags as received (if applicable). You will receive store credit to be used on another GB Instruments item; any additional costs incurred will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
What to do if you need to send it back:
Any item sent back to GB Instruments, Inc. for consideration for Warranty or Re-stock MUST be authorized beforehand by GBI. Please contact GBI for a Return Goods Authorization form; a copy of this completed form MUST be included with the item when it is returned to GBI.
